A bit rough around the edges- not fancy but also not terrible. We chose to stay here two nights due to proximity of Port Everglades and the shuttle service. Like others have stated, check in is painfully slow. We arrived 10pm with no one else checking in. Still took half an hour. The clerk was friendly and kept apologizing. He was trying to multitask by answering phone calls. There is a check in kiosk in lobby but the virtual agent can’t hear you if there is noise in the lobby so can be a frustrating experience from what I witnessed. After checking in we went to the bar next door and ended up being disappointed. It took forever to get drinks and food. It felt like there was only one waitress working on a busy night. The room was okay, washroom has been renovated and clean. Hotel breakfast offered eggs, sausages, breads, cereals, yogurt, some fruit. Izzy the shuttle organizer was funny and entertained guests while we waited outside for the shuttles to arrive. The shuttle service is pretty organized considering the number of guests departing. The goal was to just get to the port for our cruise and they got us there with ample time.
