Love the Scottish flavour which should be retained but hotel needs to be upgraded. There is no reason for a free standing dressing table with a television and a separate wardrobe. The television could go on the wall and a wardrobe could be installed inside the entry area. There were no coffee and mugs provided. As the wardrobe was too close to the bed and the ironing board too tall for the wardrobe my husband knocked both the rod with the ironing board trying to put it back in an knocked his head on the top shelf. The wardrobe was also way too close to the bed. Shower had mildew in grouting.

I don’t think we’ll stay here again. It’s pretty run down Yellow tale in reception area Bathrooms old dingy looking. Receptionist was friendly and quick but it needs a lot of renovation in the building.

This was our 4th time staying at the Abercorn. The staff is very nice and accommodating. We were able to stow our luggage and explore Vancouver on our first visit. This time we were able to check in early because they had a room ready! We like the shuttle to and from the airport. We walk to the Bridgeport station to take the train to waterfront station for cruising. Local tip: use a Costco shopping cart to transport your luggage to and from the train station. Property is older but it works for our needs.

This old hotel is in a good location. Hotel needs a renovation. There are som unsafe things, cables Bove the doors (unprotected) Rooms are clean. But the night price is to high for what you get.

One of the beds had slats missing, the curtains were ripped, dirty linen left in the corridors. Never stayed in a Wyndham like this more like a Hotel 6 that’s neglected. Dark and Dank would never stay again.

Adventure never again

Rooms are not that ckean. Bathroom smelked in our room only half the ourlets wirk. Air conditioning was so loud it would eake everyone up when it came on in our room. Free breakfast. Hmm if you want to warm up pancakes in microwave. Or eat cold cereal. After you must have ticket present that they do not tell you about. Would not stay here again.

The staff were all very kind. Check in and out was easy. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The decor was outdated - which in reality is fine, esp for the price. But the shower had mold in it - and I didn’t want to shower in it, which made me wonder about how clean folks could actually get the carpet in the room. The breakfast was pretty minimal - no gluten free options. No decaf options. There was tea, but I am not a tea person. It was mostly the shower.
