Love the Scottish flavour which should be retained but hotel needs to be upgraded. There is no reason for a free standing dressing table with a television and a separate wardrobe. The television could go on the wall and a wardrobe could be installed inside the entry area. There were no coffee and mugs provided. As the wardrobe was too close to the bed and the ironing board too tall for the wardrobe my husband knocked both the rod with the ironing board trying to put it back in an knocked his head on the top shelf. The wardrobe was also way too close to the bed. Shower had mildew in grouting.

Not much for regular dining. Otherwise just an average hotel. Not spectacular, but not horrible. It was fine for just an overnight between flights.

Shuttle service driver in the morning was not very pleasant. He didn’t talk. Not even a good morning. I gave him a $10 tip for a 6 minute drive. He looked at the money and grunted. No thank you! No have a good day! Nothing! The driver probably shouldn’t be in a role serving guests.

I stayed here overnight before my morning flight. I booked it last minute and mainly for the price. I read reviews and take many with a grain of salt as they can be subjective. Here is what I experienced.... Quick and friendly check-in. A very clean room. A quiet floor. A continental breakfast that while lacking in hot food, didn't bother me as I am good with the variety of yogurts, breads and pastries they offered. There was fruit as well as French toast and waffles that you could heat up as well. For a good stay before and early flight, this hotel is a great choice.

the heat is so loud that it woke us up several times. The tub is so dirty. The shower knobs are bad that is hard to adjust to the temperature that we want.

For an overnight stay the Abercom hotel was perfect. The taxi ride from the airport was about $20. We arrived and departed at times when the shuttle was not running. There are two Asian restaurants attached, we ate at the Hong Kong and it was awful! Nothing much else about unless you have a car. I would stay there again as an airport stopover.

Within 45 minutes of arrival dropped something on retrieving it discovered hairballs and dust under both beds, obviously not cleaned for awhile. Gentleman at front desk had us transfer to another room. Second night of stay at 1:45 am the carbon monoxide detector goes off in room, battery needed replacing. We both were unable to fall back to sleep. When I reported this was told other rooms had same issue and the boss was aware. Dectector was removed from room.
