The only thing missing in the room was a chair or two but the size of the room would probably not allow it. Our stay was just awesome

School holidays stay with my 7 year old, room bathroom was smelly and dirty, the room heating we couldn’t adjust and roasted. The swimming pool was broken we weren’t told and given an access card and it was freezing. The breakfast is disgusting, cold over cooked hot food, definitely not worth the price given you are on Cuba street with many other laces that are amazing. Real shame. Not recommended

Everything about this was excellent and I would stay here again, the check in process however needs work it appears a trainee was on duty without adequate oversight it would have been helpful if the person had been wearing a Trainee badge for client understanding

The location of this hotel is really good, but in saying that it is also on one of the busiest streets in all Wellington and is super noisy at night; though I'm not quite sure, there's much more that the hotel could do to reduce noise coming from the drunk people walking down Cuba Street at night time. So I would definitely recommend bringing ear plugs, especially if you go soon as they have construction going right outside the hotel which went on into the early hours of the morning. Outside of it being visually aesthetic and very Instagram worthy. It is just the run-of-the-mill hotel. it said that Netflix was included but there was no login so you had to have your own Netflix account. There is also a pool and a fitness facilities available, however you have to go down to reception to get a key to get access to these places which made it quite annoying comment and I'm not sure why they just couldn't have given you access to that with your hotel key anyway. Some perks of it is that it had some really good blackout blinds, so I think if you just remember to bring ear plugs you have a decent sleep. Location is close to everything, and you can enter and exit the hotel on both sides. They also have luggage storage which is helpful.

Loved decor etc It wasnt clear when booking on line whether the rooms were in old or newer part of hotel. Our room in older part was fine but very very small! If I had the option I would have booked a different newer larger room.

Room quite noisy as constantly heard the sound of rubbish recycling being dumped. No air conditioning and room extremely small to the point you couldn’t open the door fully without hitting the bed. To be fair the value as extremely good. Staff here are usually really great. This time a lower score as my room key failed twice….no apology from the young guy at the desk

Fantastic introduction to Wellington!

Absolutely best location for visitors to Wellington. Located on Cuba street and in the CBD, near the Harbour and spoiled for shopping and food choices. Close to bus stops and a nice walk to the cable car or museum. Weta is a 20 minute bus ride away and airport is similar by taxi. Room was clean, nicely decorated, and perfect for our stay. Staff were simply amazing with any questions on check in, calling a taxi (5min wait!) and the food…exceptional. All in all, if you are new or visiting Wellington this should be your first and only booking!

Our room was modern, comfortable and clean. One window wouldn’t stay open and the power kept tripping hence the 4 stars for condition. We reported the power issue to front desk so it’ll be fixed by now so don’t let that put you off. The room is definitely on the small side but it’s all we needed, we’ve stayed before and we’d definitely stay again. The bar is very stylish, a great place to meet for drinks. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful.

Convenient location but without central air, rooms did get very hot. Parking was a little tricky with tight parking spots in an enclosed garage. Did really enjoy the whimsy of the decor and design

This was a great location and very walkable and close to public transportation. The hotel is kind of pretentious and attracts a young crowd. (We are older, but still fun) We stayed in the what I assume was the original hotel with easy exit to a back street. Our room was really very small and with no view to speak of. When I asked if we could upgrade, the young woman at the desk was rather dismissive and said she’d let me know – never did let us know either way. It became a non-issue since we were out all day and dined out in the evening. The room was kept well stocked with clean towels. The bar staff was great, fun and attentive. The food in the bar area is okay, drinks fine. I recommend seeking out other dining options – there are many in Wellington.
