The room itself was lovely. The bed and pillows were great. The air conditioning was very noisy and for all the noise it didn't really do much...apart from be noisy.

Staff very helpful. Some mould in shower tiles near taps but as we all know that is near impossible to remove in the grout.

It was a very busy day with exceptionally long lines at check in. Once checked in Most of our group had to wait a couple of hours for a room

Great having 2 double beds as a twin share option. Hotel needs a bit of an upgrade, air conditioning unit is noisy and old. Even the menus etc in the room look old and well used. Parking is a pain and I didn't realise I should pre book. alternative parking is just around the corner but you still have to navigate through intersections to get there. Excellent breakfast down in the Portlander. Delayed service on check in but otherwise service was really good.

The hotel was last refurbished in 2016, we do appreciate that the style and decor might not meet everyone's preference or expectations. We are currently trialling a new air-con unit that is modern, efficient and quiet - we just need a little more time to ensure that it is actually fit for purpose for our rooms. car parking is a big challenge as a result of the style of building and our location. Really pleased to read that you enjoyed breakfast in the Portlander Restaurant. Sorry the check-in process was a little slow, however great to see that overall service from out team was really good.
