Our stay was good but the rooms were just okay. They were renovating the rooftop pool area so not all of these amenities were available for our stay and I wasn't aware prior to. This was the main reason I chose this hotel. The room was sufficient but I feel, pretty basic and empty feeling as far as decor in the living room area. It always looks lovely online until you walk in the door and are left a bit dissapointed. The couch was small and uncomfortable. Rather than a coffee table they had these two tiny square ottoman things that you could use to put your feet up and make the best of the sofa being uncomfortable. The fireplace wall was black metal wall of sorts. It felt a bit bare and sterile and not the cozy mountain vibe you hope for. The beds were really hard and we both woke up sore, even though that is not typical for us. When we went downstairs for a drink there was no beer on tap, as it was broken. We also couldn't get in for a massage, as the RMT was booked up even though I called a week in advance. The staff were amazing though. Absolutely couldn't ask for better service there. Location is great. Its only a short walk to town. As far as the basics (i.e. kitchenette, separate bedroom, etc.), it checks the boxes. For what we paid though, I think I'm going to look around for other options next time.

I was disappointed with my stay at the Moose Hotel and Suites. The listing advertised that all the hot tubs and the sauna were available, but when I arrived, the sauna was closed and one of the hot tubs was under renovation. Usually, hotels provide a notice when amenities are unavailable, so this was frustrating and misleading. Additionally, the room view was disappointing—it faced a wall, which wasn’t mentioned when booking. Overall, it wasn’t the relaxing experience I was hoping for.

I had a wonderful stay at The Moose Hotel! The staff was truly amazing—friendly, helpful, and welcoming from start to finish. The entire hotel was very clean, and its location right in the center of town made it so convenient to explore everything. Highly recommended and would definitely stay again!

Very friendly staff. After coming from B.C. we were able to check in early. Room was clean and with a $50 upgrade we got a beautiful sitting space with a fireplace. Didn’t have time for the hottub. The hotel is nestled in beautiful Spruce Trees so I believe all rooms would be cozy and picturesque. Great, great location as you can walk to everything. Nice secure underground parking.

Check-in was just ok not friendly .Our room was on the first floor which I did not like felt like a basement the patio was cut into the wall and very overlooked by next door hotel we felt they were always looking down on us and I like the daylight not having to close the blinds all the time The heating did not work to well either very hot or cold air .i was so looking forward to this hotel so very disappointed I have waited a long time to go to Banff and I though this hotel would be special by the how it is portrayed It was a celebration of my 77 th birthday

The rooms were nice and the staff were very friendly. Hotel is in a great location. The only one con we had was that our room had an air conditioner unit right next to the bed at bed height so the person sleeping next to it was getting cold air blown to their face while sleeping so we had to turn it down but then the rest of us were hot.
