May Weekend in Banff

We had our pups with us and the accommodations were perfect as we were on the main floor and the dogs were able to be up and close with wildlife(while on the outdoor patio). Very happy with the accommodations for pets, only suggestion would be to have a poop container for when you picked up after your pets. Loved the included bus pass that was very useful and made sense so as not to have to be concerned with parking in the downtown. Would definitely book and stay again!

The only complaint that I have is that the housekeeping staff doesn’t make your beds or come in clean or vacuum. For 3 days they emptied garbages, brought towels, and that was it. When I pay money for a nice room I expect better housekeeping. The hotel was very quiet, rooms were clean, lovely beds, and equipped as a kitchenette.

This was the perfect place for a girls' trip to Banff National Park for hiking, dining at the fabulous Fairmount Banff Springs (without having to pay so much for lodging) and generally hanging out and catching up.

The property was overall clean but could use some dusting. The ceiling and the lamps are full of dust. The pool area needs an upgrade. Nice location, very close to downtown Banff. We enjoyed the free Roam bus tickets, thank you.

We have stayed in this hotel before and never had an issue, however this time when we got to the room, a housekeeper just walked into the room. We were told at the desk the room was totally ready. Then we found some of the dishes not washed properly with some food still stuck on it. We also found small stains on the comforter and what looked like blood stains on one of the pillows. The parking lot on the side we stayed at was horrible… it was very tight and with cars parked both sides there was barely one lane for a car to squeeze through. We went to check out the sauna/steam room and it was very smelly, like mildew/mouldy, definitely wouldn’t have wanted to sit in there to relax. We did bring up these issues with the front staff as well.

We booked this accommodation whilst out there as we were not happy with where we were. Clean, bright, good amenities in the property( kitchen) except don't have a cooker(only a two hob) this was manageable. Bathroom was decent size Comfortable beds and blackout blinds
