We stayed in a superior king suite with a mountain view. Room was as expected except the door to the hallway had large gaps allowing in significant light at night. Front desk staff were excellent and always helpful. We tried the restaurant the first night of our three night stay. You better enjoy very loud music which we don’t. Conversation was difficult. Bison burger was inedible. Waiter comped entire meal which was a pleasant surprise. Breakfast was better but the music was still there. Heated parking was included as were three day passes for local transport. Very nice touch. Hot tubs and fire tables were great. Banff in April is not warm.

This property is beautiful but unpretentious. The renovations are high quality. The hot pools are great with outdoor fire pits and comfortable seating. The gym had just enough machines to get a workout in while on vacation. The rooms are clean and beautiful but quite small. We upgraded our room but it was still a little small. Quiet with a good view. We weren’t in the room much but it would have been nice to have a little more room. The floating cabinets were good quality and the bathroom was really nice. The door does not have a lock on it. If you are travelling with kiddos, it could be problematic. Good Folk and Sudden Sally have an amazing food selection. The staff are all very friendly. We would definitely stay here again!
