Very friendly staff , bike friendly accomodation with secure storage of pushbikes overnight. Actually on the Centenary trail … so if anyone looking for accomodation in the Hall region whilst doing the centenary trail … highly recommend

The staff were super friendly and provided excellent check-in instructions. Checking in and out after hours was very easy. The rooms are clean. During my stay, I switched rooms - from a bunk room with bunk beds to a family room. The AC heating worked fine in the bunk room, but unfortunately, it wasn't functioning in the family room. The staff provided a heater, which was helpful, but having the AC heating working would have been better. All in all, excellent value for money. I highly recommend this accommodation.

The hotel is in general good. I had few issues. 1) My booking is for 4 people. They only gave us two small tubes with shampoo and conditioner, as well only one small pastille of hand soap. There is no other soap available. And for 4 people that is not enough. I ended buying soap in the pharmacy next to the hotel. I tried to get more amenities, but the reception closes at 7pm. 2) In similar order than previous one. We were 4 people, thay gave us only 2 towells. My room had two queen beds, why only two towells. And again, no way to fix it because the reception was closed. The room was clean and is very spacious, with decent furniture (not too old but not brand new, was ok) . The beds were Ok. Not the best, but it was ok for 1 night. The tv was ok. No issues and the internet wifi works with no issue at all. In general I will return, but first thing to do is check towells and amenities.

the room was roomy, with a comfortable bed. It was quiet and very comfortable. We were staying for 8 nights and our room was serviced twice in during our stay, but to a minimal level. We were informed of this when we checked in. We were not worried about this, but room service only meant that towels were replaced. we would have like our milk being replaced for more coffee, and more toilet paper needed to be supplied towards the end of our stay. Staying over Easter meant that the office was not always open to request certain things.

Family of 4 stayed for 2 nights. Room clean. We all had good nights sleep. Quiet location (was a bit worried as right next door to KFC however the noise from cars going there wasn’t a problem). No microwaves or toasters in rooms. Shelf for soap, shampoo etc broken off in shower which was annoying otherwise good place to stay and would stay again.

The hotel was poorly maintained. The room had a lot of mosquitoes and flies, so we had to go to the store to buy spray to get rid of them. There was no hairdryer in the room, and the freezer in the fridge was not working—it was completely full of ice. The sink drain was clogged and did not flow properly. The carpet was very small, uncomfortable, and in poor condition. Due to these issues, we had to check out early and move to another hotel. We were unable to sleep on the second night.

Comfortable stay

It is a good place to stay if you are bringing your family and the place is close to a chemist, fuel, wide range of cafes and also the National Dinosaur Museum and Cockington green. The room was spacious and comfortable for a whole family and will definitely give this a return visit.

Decent Stay but Cleaning & Maintenance Need Work We’ve stayed at this hotel before in different rooms, and unfortunately, the cleaning and maintenance issues have been consistent each time. That said, the room served its purpose as a place to sleep for the night. This time, we booked an accessible room due to mobility issues (not wheelchair users). The accessibility features were well-designed, including a drop-down wall shower seat, grab rails, and a threshold-free floor for easy wheelchair access. Having two toilets—one separate from the main bathroom—was a convenient touch. However, the hands-free shower head was difficult to keep in position when using the fold-down seat. The bathroom floor also became extremely wet outside the shower area because the overly long shower curtain bunched up and stuck together, causing water to leak out. On a positive note, the beds were comfortable enough, and the room included tea, coffee, a fridge, a decent TV, good storage space, reverse cycle anircon and free Wi-Fi. We had an after-hours check-in, which was smooth and hassle-free. Despite staying during the extremely busy Summernats car event period, we had no trouble with noise. Another big plus is the ample free parking, pharmacy, KFC, McDonalds and Gold Creek just outside the door. The staff are always lovely to deal with, which keeps us coming back, but better cleaning and maintenance would make a big difference.
