We recently had our wedding there. Our beach wedding set up was perfect. Absolutely beautiful. Maria, our wedding coordinator was amazing and accommodated in all ways possible. She made our wedding perfect, so thank you. If it was a review strictly for our wedding, it would definitely be 5 stars. As far as the hotel, rooms, and dining service, I would be around 2-3 stars. We had water cut off on our wedding day in the rooms while we were getting ready. Came back on in about a hour and water was coming out brown initially. Our room often smelt like sewage. A lot of our wedding guests that stayed at the hotel had issues with their reservations. They didn’t get the room they booked and paid extra for. The day of check in, after signing everything before the stay, they were notified that they were downgraded to another room and they won’t be refunded. Pretty shady I would say. Had a few issues with dining. Main one was with an employee named Pablo at the Mexican restaurant. He was very unfriendly as we walked in and as we sat down after ordering and waiting for our food. He came up to our table and said we had to leave in 10 mins and was a being a complete ass hat.

Our stay at the Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres was one for the ages. The service was outstanding, with Luis, our bartender, Francisco our Teppanyaki chef, and the rest of the personnel pampering us for a week. Customer service was also great, helping us addressing my son's medical emergency. Facilities are really nice, and the beach was beautiful. Loved the Mexican restaurant the most, then the Buffet, and then the Japanese teppanyaki. I cannot recommend it more. The only downside was the location and the road to get there, which needs maintenance.

Anyone complaining about anything at this resort should take a real good in the mirror, as I doubt anything would make them happy. My family of 3 had an excellent time in this beautiful resort, from the premises to amenities, entertainment, dinning and best of all, the staff, all contributed to an amazing stay. Wish I could remember all the names of the wonderful people working here and that we interacted with, few stand out... Carmen and Julian from breakfast restaurant, the girls at the kids club (Alondra, Diana & Star) who were incredibly nice with our son, to Jaime and Angeles and everyone from the entertainment team. Food: best food from all the all-inclusive resorts we've experienced. Loved the smoothie station also.

We had a wonderful time and enjoyed our stay at this resort. The food was good, and the staff treated us well. We loved the pools around every corner, yet they might consider putting in more cabanas at their beach property. The drinks were tasty as long as you requested top shelf liquor. Overall beautiful resort and worth the stay.

The hotel is beautiful, accessible and very clean. With lots of food options and everything was delicious. The spa is amazing! I highly recommend. Our butler Aaron was very attentive, helpful and communicative. He made our stay very comfortable. From 1 to 10 I give him 20 stars! Also, our server Isai from the adults infinity pool was awesome. He had our drinks flowing. Angel from the Mar buffet was also great. We loved our first visit to Majestic Elegance and hope to go back. Thank you to all staff for the wonderful experience.

Very beautiful resort and area. The only downfall is location. You will need transportation to the nearest gas station or local stores. But its up and coming so i believe with time, more shops will pop up.

The front desk people Were exceptional as well as some of the entertainers the shows were fabulous. I loved everything about this resort. The beach was gorgeous. The rooms were amazing food fantastic I would love to go again.

Most of the staff does not understand English. Made my communication for refills simply for tea bags that was forgotten was so difficult. Asked for sheets to change at mid week and was not done. Write a note in English for refills like water and wasn't acknowledged. Why do management kick you out at 12:00 noon and your flight is 7:30
