Three balmy days in June

We had a lovely 3 night stay. The property is very well located near the Pitti palace. The room was cavernous and eclectically decorated. Perhaps most importantly for a heat wave the air conditioning worked brilliantly. Would definitely stay here again.

Very well located property. Nice big room. Good breakfast. Great customer service and support. Quite area. The only issue is not very functional room furniture. No space for clothing storage. And unfortunately bidet wasn’t working.

Soprano is a wonderful property and is located in the heart of Oltrarno. The rooms are great and there are some nice social areas to relax and enjoy a coffee or a glass of red. The staff are extremely friendly and belpful. Highly recommended.

Lifetime experience

We absolutely loved our stay from the first moment when we checked in and were greeted by a very friendly lady, and all the way though our stay with beautifully designed bedrooms with a high ceiling, tasty breakfasts, and the location. Couldn’t recommend enough this hotel and we will try to stay here again if we are back in Florence!

This hotel is a hidden gem in Florence. The location was perfect and quiet at night. The room was enormous (by any country standard). The furnishings was eclectic and fun. The staff was outstanding. We felt like locals.

Unique and charming

Highly recommend!! This place is so unique and charming but still replete with all comforts. We stayed in the Paper Room - so much thoughtful detail to the decor! Brunella was exceptionally helpful and accommodating, with thorough email responses to my questions even before we arrived. She helped us work through an unexpected train strike and ensured we could still enjoy our trip despite the change in plans. I can’t wait to return to Florence and stay here again!

Brunella, whom helped us check in, and handled all the front desk help, was very welcoming, pleasant, respectful, friendly, and accommodating. There is some noise between the rooms as the house building is a bit old, but it's not a big issue at night as it's very quiet.

Hotel is in a very convenient and central to shopping, sites to see and many restaurants and bars. The hotel is pricey for what is on offer at the hotel. Breakfast is on a very small range of choices of items to pick from to eat. Beds are comfortable but very noisy when you turn in bed. The large shower head didn’t work and the switch came off when I tried to turn the button on.
