Staff at reception were welcoming and helpful. Room was super spacious for a family of four with luggage. Property is in a great location though getting a little tired. We understand it will be undergoing a big renovation soon. We look forward to our next stay.

Room was gorgeous and staff were extremely helpful. The hot tub bath didn't have a plug and we had to wait over an hour for a spare one to be found. In the evening the electricity tripped after using a hair dryer, all the plug sockets were off for an hour. Again, the staff were extremely helpful and managed to fid the problem.

Unfortunately when we got there we were told there was no heating and an engineer wouldn’t be able to fix it till Monday a small electric heater was provided but wasn’t sufficient.. we were told that they were ringing but we weren’t informed if we had of been we would e cancelled as my partner is not in the best of health , he found it too cold to enjoy our stay

30 James Street Liverpool.
Mix up when checking in. They said we had only booked for 2 adults when we had booked for 4. Tried charging us extra. Showed booking reference which had 4 adults clearly stated and after a little time it was accepted. Bar and breakfast staff were very welcoming. Room was fine but some areas of the hotel needed a little updating.

On arrival was told my room was already vacant 😒 so had to wait over 30mins for a managee to deal with request , then was told heating was broken and there would be a heater in room when we finaly got a room it was cold and no heating provided

Awful ! This hotel needs a good refurbishment, room was dirty bathroom had a strong smell of urine and mood on the tiles. The jacuzzi bath did not work . The room was very noisy , we stayed on a Wednesday evening with two young children and was woken up at 2 am to very loud music from the room next door, so had very little sleep. We booked breakfast but was advised on arrival this had been cancelled as there was no one in to cook it. No bar open either. Only good thing about this hotel is the location!
