The attached neighbouring bar has an event on each Friday and Saturday evening and there is no chance of any sleep until it finishes about 2am. The noise was terrible and it sounded like we were at the bar. Lovely and clean little property. Staff were helpful enough. Nice area.

Stayed here twice now. The recently renovated rooms are fantastic, clean and modern. Free parking behind the hotel is a big plus in Richmond, especially in Steveston. Staff are friendly and awesome. Lots of dining options all within walking distance plus a Save on Foods right across the street. Walk less than 5 minutes to the waterfront. Overall a great place to stay.

Great Location, Friendly & Helpful Staff

We really liked the location of this hotel as it was so close to the fisherman's wharf area. The staff were very, very friendly & helpful. Unfortunately, it was quite noisy on both of the nights that we were there, sometimes even into the early morning hours. Lots of commotion and talking outside, as well as doors slamming just about until 2:00 a.m. everyday. The room itself was not too much to speak of, as it was outdated not very comfortable. The chair was broken in the room, the bed was small and not very supportive or comfortable while sleeping. The lighting in the room was also quite poor. Unfortunately the restaurant inside the same building would not give any discount to patrons of the hotel. Quite disappointing. But the restaurant food was pretty good.

We had the most amazing stay at the Steveston. The hotel is older but very cozy with lots of cool history! All the staff were very friendly and pleasant! The area is so cute and felt very safe! We kept our vehicle in their parking lot and it was safe and sound our whole trip! There is a save-on-foods across the street. So convenient! So many restaurants and stores to shop in the area! We took transit and it was so easy to navigate from the Steveston! We will definitely be back again!

We arrived at the hotel late at night and the parking was at the far end of the building entrance. What we didn't realize was that it was pay parking. So we paid the overnight rate and the ticket showed that it's good until 6am. This was frustrating since we wanted to sleep in and not wake up at 5:50 to pay again. Another problem was that there was no hot water in our room, so we couldn't even have a shower. I wrote to the motel after our stay and they were very responsive and apologetic. Thankfully they refunded our parking fees and discounted our room rate. The beds were comfortable.
