convenient location near tram stop and shopping and many restaurants. Clean and spacious room with kitchen and in room laundry machines. Good city view on top floor and quiet room. Friendly front desk.

Super easy access to the light rail, across the road from Capitol Theatre, which I was in town for and plenty of food options in Chinatown making this hotel the perfect place to stay. Staff were friendly, the room was spacious and clean. Loved my stay. Would definitely stay again.

1 Bedroom Apartment 3 Night Stay The pillows were to die for! Vey comfortable and quiet bedroom. Could hear city noise from the main room but not too much of a bother. Great amenities and appliances in the room. We found the pool too cold, but I never made time to ask reception about it. Walking distance to railway, shops, china town and Darlington Harbour. Situated in the middle of an oversupply of fantastic restaurants if you love asian food, this is a great area. Directly between two great shopping centres, Market City Mall (and Paddy's Market) and World Square shopping centre. The staff are incredibly friendly and very helpful. Area is a little questionable during late hours/early morning. Streets are not the cleanest. Overall a great stay and would stay here again.

Staff was rude and unprofessional upon checkin. I’ve never felt so unwelcome in a hotel. The room was spacious and clean but had a weird smell. Currently construction going on during the day. Great location in Haymarket and close to the tram, but would not stay again after being treated so poorly as a customer.

Not quite up to the usual Meriton high standards as the carpets were quite worn but the facilities in the room were as expected. I wish Meriton would provide more than 1 tiny shampoo, body wash and conditioner as we either just use our own or have to keep asking for more. Love the very handy dishwasher, washer and dryer and how the liquids/powders are provided. No need to bring your own. We had a large balcony but no view.

Very nice stay, would certainly rebook

Overall we had a very nice stay. The view from our balclony apartment on the 28th floor was great and the place was clean, modern and effective. We had a couple of maintenance issues which were resolved quickly. The place is very close to lines L2 and L3 on the tram (2 mins walk) and L1 is 4 mins away - the junction where the lines cross. The property is right on the edge of Chinatown and Central Station is no more than 10 mins walk. The Great Synagogue is about 15 mins in the opposite direction. The reception staff were efficient. Our only observation was that the person who designed some of the features in the apartment probably didn't intend to live in it. In particular the bathroom was poorly designed from a user perspective and the shower arrangements are not good. But we would definitely recommend

The property is aged. The room I have got was on level 12 which is also where the pool is. May be for this reason, the room is very humid. The AC is actually inside the room making it at times pretty noisy.

Culturally vibrant neighbourhood. Accessible by public transit system. Close, but not right in the midst of tourist district. However, the property is aged; e.g. you still have an in-room AC unit which is pretty noisy at times.

The room that I had was huge and had all of the amenities I needed including laundry. The bed was extremely comfortable and overall my stay was pleasant. The staff were helpful, courteous and professional. Just two pieces of information: * The hotel’s elevators are under construction and being upgraded to state of the art ones like on new cruise ships. I wasn’t told about the construction which began in early morning and the hotel understood this and made an appropriate adjustment. So if staying here consider asking for a high floor. * As a fitted apartment there’s a cleaning service every three days. Mine came at 5pm when I was back at the hotel and that was inconvenient. I later found it was also the end of the shift.

A lovely quiet apartment hotel within 5min walk from Sydney Central Station. Located in Cnr of George & Campbell Sts the trams run continously if you dont want to walk. The stop is Chinatown. Countless eating options. Capitol Theatre directly opposite.

The room was spacious and had everything you needed. The hotel staffs are very friendly and accommodating. There are many grocery stores nearby as well as restaurants. It's very walkable but the transportation is nearby if you need it. I highly recommend the place.

It was nice but I see one main improvement

The hotel was very nice, and I would recommend it. I just want to mention that when we arrived at 3:45 PM, one of our rooms wasn't ready. Additionally, there was some wear and tear in the room, and it had a slight damp smell. A pleasant air freshener or scented spray would improve the experience. Otherwise, everything else was easy, and the hotel looked fancy.
