Got off to a bad start- couldn't check in on time- no rooms available ??. But that was sort of acceptable. Due to repair work being carried out - the drilling and banging was noisy- would have been nice to have known before booking. No replacement coffee/sugar for 2nd day ? Use to stay here lot's years ago- but it has deteriorate in time. Furniture out dated - bathrooms needs dirty grout and no gap replaced. Just not worth the money anymore- shame because it is a good spot to stay. But the worst, was being locked in the car park unable to exit- until a got some nice guy to come and open the gate. All these things add up- wouldn't have happened in the past. Anyway- it's up to you. Ray

Look at my previous review. We stayed before and after a cruise. Dirty and aged apartments. Great location and good size apartments, but ages and run down with poor maintenance.

Rooms were showing their age and very poorly maintained. Holes in the wall filled in but not painted. Furniture worse for wear. Carpet wrinkle & lifting (apparently about to be replaced). Mould all over bathroom ceiling. Very dirty. Dusty and marks on the wall. Cleaners obviously doing the very basics. House keeping arrived after 3.30 in the afternoons after we were back from the day’s adventure. Just not good enough. Both times we arrived for check in rooms were not ready until late. Are they understaffed to save money? Overall very poorly maintained and run hotel.

Room was dated and noisy. Balcony door was locked due to window cleaning which happens several months each year. Parking ($58pn) was very limited and designed for small cars. I had to seek assistance from Reception to access the carpark and then find a car space. Only positive was the staff member who accompanied me to the carpark and assisted with finding car space - thank you

The hotel has old furnishings. Currently it is supposed to take a year to repair the pool and we did not have access to our balcony because which would have been nice to eat outside. Our other family’s room was the kind of room and a little nicer. They could eat on their balcony. Kind of thought we should not be charged as much because we were not provided the same amenities. It was nice to have a kitchenette and washer and dryer in the room. It is a good location because it is right near a train station. I would probably stay here again because of convenience. Did not feel breakfast was worth $38.00 extra so we did not ask for that. Staff were kind.

The York by Swiss - Perfect Place to Stay!

Our room was located on the 13th floor, with a great view of the city. The room was cleaned daily, unless we asked for privacy. We did not eat the breakfast offered, but there was a refrigerator, microwave, and sink in the room. We were happy to eat things we bought from the store.
