Needs a good spruce up - scuffed wallpaper, needs a lick of paint -the shower is the best bit - always hot and great pressure- enjoyed the swimming pool but spa pool cold - was looking forward to the spa - needs some love and care.

Nice 1 bedroom apartment with sky+ Lakefront, heated pool and 2 hot tubs. The indoor hot tub was nice but could do with a clean. The water was quite dirty and It had a thick line of black mould around it which damaged our swimsuits. I did let reception know so hopefully they will sort it. Housekeeping came in whilst we were out and did a good tidy and washed our cups which was nice of them.

The apartment was clean and tidy but a little dated. Beds were comfortable and the small kitchen had everything we needed to self cater. The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly and offered advice on local attractions. The heated outdoor pool was perfect and the area well kept.

Booked the hotel whilst attending a large public event. The booking I made stated payment was to be made at the hotel. I received a call advising if I didn’t make payment 2 days before they would cancel the room. I advised that I had planned to pay on arrival and the lady said “it’s because of people like you that we have to make these phone calls” and proceeded to advise that if I didn’t give my card number within the next 10 seconds she would cancel our booking. After taking my card number, she said that’s gone through and hung up on me. As for the room - positives first. It is positioned in an absolutely beautiful part with views of the Lake and very easy access with a balcony and table/chairs. The pool was really nice. Big pool and clean. The room however was disgraceful. I’ve been in 70 year old bach’s that are more modern and with better amenities. The shower didn’t have any pressure, the bedrooms were tiny with no extra blankets. Parking was an absolute nightmare and really challenging with a young baby. It was priced up there with some of the better hotels and I could have probably excused the dated decor and musky smell but the customer service was an absolute no no for me. If it wasn’t the global games and there were alternative options we would have gone ahead and cancelled. Understandably some translation is lost when using 3rd parties but some friendly explanation would have changed the whole experience. She even refused to give me her name. Never again
