Great hotel if room is away from the clubs

Hotel perfectly situated for symphony hall and utilita arena. Lots of nice bars along the canalside nearby. Check in nice and swift with complementary prosecco, which was a lovely touch. Room spotlessly clean and 2 extremely comfortable beds. Parking not the cheapest but convenient. Only real downside was being so close to a nightclub the bass was thrumming through the room (rm 310) until 3am which was ridiculous. Had I realised sooner or if we were staying another night or more I would've requested a room change. Checkout staff a little brusque, didn't ask if we enjoyed our stay so felt I couldnt say about the noise issue.

Tired room and not a comfy bed. Really overpriced bar. I mean how much for a bottle of coke, you just be joking. Staff need trainjng on coffee too, awful for the cost

the gift that keeps on giving

i have used this hotel many times, fantastic value for money and in the perfect location, it never disappoints, reception always very polite and helpful,,there was a rock concert nearby and the hotel was full to the brim of costumed Ghost fans and Ghouls,,,quite scary but extremely well behaved and pleasant

Bar service not great

We always stay at this hotel when attending a show in the area. The location is brilliant and rooms are exceptional. On this occasion we needed to wait 15 minutes for our room to be ready (which was fine as we arrived a little before 3pm) Decided to have a drink at the bar, which wasn't the best experience! I must just say that there was no one else at the bar...... But barmaid was young and very unhelpful, clearly didn't want to be there.

Great location- we stayed as we were watching a show at the Birmingham Rep which was just down the road. Lively central location with plenty of eateries. Hotel is of a great standard too. Very comfortable and well priced. Perfect for a one night lay over.

It was a great place. My only issue is the parking. Is too expensive. Can’t imagine had to pay 18 pounds for just a night, meanwhile nearby parking was far cheaper. Aside that, it was a great place

Great location - value for money

Great location. Good value for a Birmingham city centre hotel. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Car park on site. Cost around £18 for 24 hrs. Spaces are extremely tight though - built before cars got so big !! Have stayed several times and will def be back !
