Terrible experience at check in. Arrived at 2:04pm and due to the 5 minute waiting bay out front being occupied by other users, sent my wife in to check us in for a pre paid booking with a credit card for incidentals. She was told that the check in staff would be required to site me whose name the booking was in….(I couldn’t do this once checked in and parked perhaps?). 2 minutes later, at 2:06pm I walked in and as I did a gentleman with a name badge displaying the name MD walked out the back. I politely waited 1 minute because he had seen me, before ringing the bell. I heard a voice suggest they wouldn’t be long. I was required to wait until 2:12pm before MD again came out. MD then conducted the check in process using my ID and CC. This process took until 2:19 which seemed deliberately inflammatory to the already poor experience we had endured. Through out the process I remained silent and refrained from expressing my dissatisfaction. I was handed the key to my room and I left. No explanation of what charges had been held on my card, nothing about the gym or breakfast, just a query on whether he could sting me further for carparking. A terrible experience and far below my expectations. I wouldn’t stay here again and I would expect a standard expression of understanding from management on this review but no real effort to make a bad situation right. All I did was try check into my pre paid hotel room at the appropriate time and was treated horribly.
