This property is under renovations. Rooms were not fully completed. Hotel should not be open while full renovations are underway. Ended up having to cancel to move to another hotel.

The hotel is in renovation and the whole hotel should’ve been closed. Their carpet was so dirty and the ceiling was peeling off with water marks and molds. I started feeling sick.

Do NOT stay here until they complete remodeling. I tried to enter my room as and hit the door lock. I went back downstairs and was told to put up in the door not down. I was in a room with paint peeling off the wall and ceiling, mold all around tub and in the grout of the tiles in the shower. Drilling all day.

When I walked in to check in, the lady behind the desk did not even smile. The air conditioner in the room was not cool, and there was a light shining directly into our room at night and we could not close the curtains to block it out. At breakfast, the sausage was rubbery and cool. We left to eat elsewhere. Overall, it was a very unpleasant stay.

I am fully aware that this location is in the process of remodeling but the rooms they are renting out is horrible. We rented a room with 2 queen beds, we received 2 doubles instead. When we questioned it, we were told "that is the size of our queens". Then there was razors, from the previous renters, still in the shower. They eventually moved us to another room, same size beds and this room had shredded curtains and the lamp keep falling over, as it was broke. Then st 9am the morning we were supposed to check out, there is not knock or anything, I hear a card sliding the lock of the door. Suddenly the door opens, thankfully I had the bar lock on the door, so entry was blocked. I jumped up and opened the door, housekeeping was there say " My bad, they said you had already checked out"...really? I still have the keys and check out isn't until 11. Needless to say, I won't ever stay here again.

SKIP IT!

The carpet in the room was stained in multiple places. The bathroom sink was scratched and marred. There was no light bulb in two lamps. Room did not have a Do Not Disturb placard. The grounds were littered. A construction crew was literally at our 3rd floor window with wall plaster at 7:30am on Sunday morning. The fitness center was closed. Other than the friendly lady at check-in, there was NOTHING good about the place. And, it was NOT bargain basement pricing, it was more than surrounding properties. I chose it for Wingate’s reputation which they totally ruined.

Under construction and appears to be knee deep in a renovation. Cleanliness in the hallways was lacking. The carpet in the room was scary, we kept our shoes on at all times. No fitness center open. BUT the front desk clerk was lovely upon our 6pm checkin-very friendly and helpful.

There was alot of work being done on the outside of the building. The hotel smelled funny, the carpets and chair in room were really dirty. The bathroom had been updated and was clean and the bed was comfortable. Night staff was not friendly. Didn't make me feel very safe.

After looking at 5 rooms I was so exhausted from travel that I just gave up and settled in one. I should have left like I witnessed another couple do. The hotel should not be open when the rooms are not finished from renovation or are still filthy!!! I should have been paid to stay in that mess!! Worst rooms and hotel stay ever!!!! Hotels.com will be hearing from me.
