Rude staff, bugs in bed,steal your deposit beaware

Stayed here as a birthday get away. When walking in it’s much nicer than the outside of the building. Although you will be greeted by 2 lady’s who we named moody 1 and moody 2 . The look on their faces makes you feel uncomfortable. You can tell they just don’t want to be there at all. The staff hardly speak to you either. It was a very awkward experience checking in. Staff just passed you the stuff and expected you to understand where to sign and what to read and do next. After checking in I was told I needed to pay £100 for a deposit. Which wasn’t displayed anywhere till I looked very carefully at the small print . Paid the £100 extra in case damages. Entered room ,was full of cracks, dirty carpet, the safe in the room smelt like a gone off tuna baguette. Bed seemed fine at the time and comfortable Rest of the room seemed ok. When going out and about in the hotel staff just looked at you again like you wasn’t meant to be there. In the evening a man worked on the desk who also didn’t have time of day for you.On the last evening . We had a terrible night experience. BED BUGS we filmed the bed bugs took it to the check out the next morning to be told . It’s not a bad type of bed bug so nothing they can do We asked for a refund they said no Apparently bugs in the bed are normal They told us there is no way for a refund Said we could try going to booking site but Said we could have the deposit back a week later still no deposit and now doesn’t want anything to do with us.

Generally all ok for an overnight solo stay. Only 2 pillows that were quite flat so not the most comfortable of sleeps but was ok. The rooms are certainly not ‘soundproof’ as I could hear a lot of people talking through the door in the rooms next to me. On the whole decent enough though.

Short stay in Tooting

Stayed at this place for 1 night. Accommodation was a little bit tired and worn but fine for a short stay. The big drawback was the sewage smell from the bathroom which would put us off returning.

I feel it has been one of worst experience in an establishment like this. First off the check in sucks! I had to check in till 2pm? Really? I've never heard of that before till afternoon. Not sure, if in the UK those are the rules or not. Luckily I've only stay two nights. The staff some of them were courteous.

Was there for work purpose. It was close to work and reasonable price. People were friendly and accommodating. We ate out morning and evening so didn’t need food facilities. As a place to just sleep was excellent but if needed to do some work found the room alittle unsuitabke for that
