Although this property may be slightly dated, it was magnificently maintained, the facility was very clean. The cafe was nice, the staff cleaners, front desk, and cafe were courteous and helpful.

The reason we chose this hotel was the pool and due to lack of maintenance it was closed so we cut our stay short. The front desk and the staff were excellent and the bistro food was good and reasonably priced.

It was a brief weekend stay, but it was fairly comfortable. The staff was polite and professional. Unfortunately the pool was closed during our stay; still, overall, it was decent.

I really enjoyed my stay at Courtyard Marriott in Mahwah. It was quiet and peaceful and just what I needed for a few days away from home. I was really looking forward to going into the pool with my daughters however we had a case of bad luck and were not able to swim due to an unexpected pool cleaning maintenance. I wasn’t thrilled about not having a microwave in the room and having to go down to the lobby every time I wanted to heat something up but I guess that is because they want you to eat at their restaurant instead.

Our overall stay at the Courtyard was great. The room was nice, spacious, and had all the amenities we needed. One thing I did notice was a need for some vacuuming as it felt like was stepping on (in socks) crumbs and other things on the carpet. The check-in process was quick and easy, beds were comfortable, and while we didn't use the lobby or other amenities while here, there appears to be a nice fire pit area outside, fitness center, and comfortable seating in the main area.

It was the place that we choose to spent our wedding night before head to the honeymoon, we called the front desk to let them know that we would be late due to the ceremony, which they confirmed telling us it was all set, upon arrival at Courtyard by Marriott we were told by the front desk they were overbooked, and there was nothing they could do about it this it was after 50 minutes driving also around 2:00 AM . Groom and Bride had to drive few more hours till had a place to spend the night . I do not recommend anyone to use this property ever again if you want to avoid this horrible heartbreaking experience.
