This hotel was by easily in the top 5 most uncomfortable rooms I’ve ever stayed in (room 206 to be exact). Let’s start with pros…it is right off the highway, staff was friendly and the property itself is clean and well maintained! The lobby and room smelled good and the room itself was clean and pristine. First presentation was great!!! Cons…furniture needs major updating. The bed was beyond uncomfortable. Every time my husband moved you could hear metal creaking and we sunk to the middle of the bed. Got no sleep! The couch in the room was old and sunken in (didn’t use this much). The air conditioning unit was right at the side of the bed, AT bed level, built into the wall. Turning it off made the room too hot but keeping it on, the air was blowing directly on us all night making it too cold. Very poor placement of the a/c unit and/or bed! We stayed here for one night to see a concert in Bridgeport (10 minute easy drive!) but ended up checking out at 5:30am and drove home 2 hours to get some sleep. It would be a nice hotel if the furniture was upgraded (and a/c had better placement). Didn’t use the pool, gym or other amenities so can’t comment on those. Pretty disappointed because it did look so nice on arrival. Would be great with the updates!! If you do end up staying here and like sushi, go check out Kama Sushi about 8 min up the road. All you can eat for a great price!!

I recently stayed at Hyatt Place Milford, CT, and overall, it was a comfortable experience. The room was clean for the most part, though I did notice the headboard seemed dirty and had some sticky residue on it, which was a bit off-putting. Aside from that, the stay was pleasant. What truly stood out was the front desk staff—they were extremely friendly, courteous, and incredibly accommodating. Their exceptional service made my stay much more enjoyable. If housekeeping paid a little more attention to detail, this would have been a perfect stay. However, I would still recommend this hotel for its welcoming atmosphere and excellent customer service. 4/5 stars.

I chose it because it had a hot tub. Unfortunately it was broken the first night I stayed there, but was fine for the rest of the stay. The staff were very nice and didn’t mind going above and beyond.
