First of all, the refrigerator was all jacked up. I needed to keep some medication refrigerated so I called the front desk. They sent staff up to fix it but it took a minute. Then there was no ice bucket in our room. No problem…picked one up at the front desk. Then got upstairs and tried to follow the signs to the ice machine…there was no ice machine on our floor. So we go back downstairs to the ice machine. Seemed a little rusty for a Hampton Inn. I usually expect a different level of service. I must say that the gal at the front desk - whose name I did not get - was EXCEPTIONALLY attentive. She deserves a raise!

No hair dryer in the room. Housekeeping doesn’t come in till 830. When I persisted one was brought to the room as it was 645 am and I would have been gone by 830.

Our room had several problems. The bathroom sink leaked on the floor and the bathtub drain could not seal up to take a bath. The TV didn't work; apparently it wasn't hooked up properly. The internet service had to be repeatedly signed in again during our stay. Breakfast was OK, seating was limited and much of the furniture there was worn and shabby. The staff was very nice, but this hotel could sure use an update and repairs.

Upon arrival, there was a couple arguing in the parking lot and as we approached the main entrance there were people openly drinking alcohol. There were also quite a few shady teens roaming the grounds and the hallways and also being extremely disruptive and rowdy in the pool and jacuzzi area, which was unfortunately very dirty as well. I would probably recommend someone to pay a little bit more to stay elsewhere. Very expensive stay for what we received.

I had several issues. 1) I am not handicapped, but the toilets were so low, I had difficulty getting up. 2) the housekeeping staff removed my wet/ used towels, but did not replace them. 3) An ice machine, but no ice buckets. 4) my last night, I requested a wake up call. which never came. The breakfast buffet was great, and the hot tub was genuinely hot. Thats about it
