Well located, clean tidy comfortable rooms with modern bathrooms and all we needed in the kitchen. Car parking was available on the day and an early check in ( with my elderly father) accommodated. I did want to use the laundry services, half of which were out of service and the functioning drier monopolised by the facility doing their towels etc. The lobby area does the place a dis-service as it’s basic, tired and not that welcoming. Overall would stay again

The property was perfect for us. The town centre was a 2 minute walk away. The room was spacious and clean. Extra towels & essentials were given to us when we asked for free. Staff were lovely and the surrounds were quiet at night as it is set off the road in a quiet street. We will definitely be back to stay again.

The reception area had a very strong smell and lots of bugs. The room had a bit of dampness and the dark grey/brown carpet gives a very dated look. As such the apartment was clean and the kitchen was well equipped.

The location of St. James Apartments is excellent. On the map it looks like you have a walk to get to the heart of town but in reality there are gates onto Camp St. which means you are right there. It is also right next to the Queenstown gardens and lovely walks. And the views from at least some of the rooms are wonderful. Close to bus lines and grocery shops. I can’t wait to return.
