It started poorly and never really recovered. I arrived at 4 pm for my Sunday reservation and, after some confusion and 2 fairly disgruntled reception workers, was told that no rooms were available. The towels and laundry were still being done. We could wait in the lobby. Large leather couches and a few chairs that felt like an animal hide made us cringe, so we waited at a table in the adjoining area. We are vegan. There was nothing on the premises for sugar or creamer- no non-dairy in 2025? Obviously, the breakfast was a no-go too. Not very progressive for what they bill as an affordable luxury boutique hotel. Only one seriously slow elevator was working, so we had to take the stairs for the stay.
The place was cute and kind of fun/artsy, but the vibe just didn't match the decor or all the positive, inspiring messages on the walls, mirrors, and surfaces! The attitude was a bit stuffy on arrival, better at check-out. Location was excellent.
