Steam room was closed even though it's advertised on the website Bathroom was tiny and the roof was low and sloped, no good if you're over 5ft Couldn't really stand in the shower for the same reason. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Good location. Great room service food.

The location was very good, close to everything. The views of Hyde Park were beautiful. The staff was very helpful. The downside was that the hotel was old and rundown; it's in need of a facelift and modernization. The rooms and the lobby were dark, and the lighting was insufficient. One lift was not working, so you had to wait a long time for the lift to come.

All good except the loud air conditioner - it sounded like a small plane was coming in to land… all night. Oh and there was no information about the hotel or the restaurant or the tv or reception services or room services or local attractions anywhere in the room. I had to find out everything on the website. And the pool? Just no.

Staff members are nice. Room is clean but a little dimmer than I expected. Good time staying at the hotel. Great breakfast buffet. The only complain is the noise from next door (both side) is very audible. I can totally hear someone talking over phone at 11pm while trying to sleep.

Overall our trip was good and mostly comfortable but we had several issues. Firstly, we had booked an executive king suite for the bedroom (as shown in the photos) however we were initially given a large room with no bedroom. Travelling with 2 kids under 5 we had chosen the room for the bedroom. We queried it and they gave us two interconnecting rooms. They used ripped up cardboard wedged under the doors to hold them open. They had one that was unlocked and could be closed, but the other would have locked and needed a key we didst have to unlock if it had shut, so the cardboard was not really enough to give us confidence that it would stay open. Additionally, there were no directions on how to use the chromecast on the tv and the air conditioner did not maintain the settings we chose and would turn on/off or go hotter or colder than we selected. The lighting in the rooms is also very dim, especially during the day if it is overcast.

Staff was great and helpful. Check in was easy. Building and rooms are tired and need an update. Our room had mouldy shower and a leak in the walls. The wall was bubbled and there was water on the baseboards. Fridge leaked as well and the carpet was wet.
