I would have thought for the price that we would have had a room with a more iconic view of the harbour. Beds were excellent and the pillows were just right. Staff were friendly and professional and eager to please.

When we arrived on Thursday the concierge met us and offered a complimentary drink. He was a proper gentleman. The plug in the bathtub didn’t work properly, my partner said the water was draining out. I also lost count the number of times I hit my head on the hanging lamp. Other than that, excellent.

Pool area very disappointing. Unkempt, and no swimming for people who don’t have excellent mobility: only a ladder to enter. Womens sauna not working. Plus nasty UHT milk portions. A hotel at these prices should provide fresh milk: it’s not that hard! Long waits for check-in, check-out and to extend stay. Not good enough for what you pay.

We completely enjoyed our visit at the Sydney Harbour Marriott. Even before we walked in the door, we were greeted by staff. Check in was easy, the front desk staff was very cheerful, the room was spotless, the bed comfy, and there was even an electrical adapter in one drawer! We loved having a dining room on site. The location was just perfect for the sightseeing we wanted to do. If it wasn't half a world away, we be visiting again soon!
