Pros:property is very close to the main highway. Property is close to train station. While its not 5 star,beds and rooms are clean and comfortable. Cons:Parking is average but due to location is not really the fault of the lodge. Lodge is right next to the train line.

The unit was clean, tidy, great cooking facilities, loved the shower and bathroom. Staff are friendly. Lovely garden and surrounding pathways and trees. However, it was very close to the railroad tracks and it sounded like a train passed through the unit several times during the night. Ear plugs were provided but it didn’t stop all the noise.

Nice place, friendly people but be prepared for the train that runs all night right beside the property! Bring your earplugs!

Great little place to stay, very clean and quiet with everything you might need in the rooms while you stay. Staff were very friendly and quick to help. Convenient on site parking in a good location that is a close enough drive when needing to go to wellington. will definitely be staying again.

The male owner has a bad attitude & he accused us of having extra guest staying over. The microwave smelled like curry. The noise is a problem, the motel is situated next to the train tracks & you can hear the noise from the unit upstairs (footsteps & banging) No wifi.
