The woman on check in was lovely. My ground floor accessible king studio was very dark and damp. I was disappointed because the website photos made me think it would be a flash stay. It's quiet and close to Highbury shops with plenty of restaurants.

Fernz Motel & Apartments is a good option for a one-night stay. The room was spacious with a nice balcony and overall fairly clean. Free parking is a plus. On the downside, the bathroom and toilet were quite small, the shower had low water pressure, and the bed was hard with no headboard and cheap, uncomfortable pillows. Comfortable enough for a short stay, but with a few compromises.

Is this the north shores best kept secret? My only problem with giving five stars is that everyone else will want to stay here! We will certainly stay again when based on the shore, and what a view - stunning.
