Sadly the spa pool was cold and murky and the following morning it was unavailable. We pay big prices to have these amenities and they are unavailable, very disappointing

From arrival to departure we were treated like royals. Every little detail of our stay was outstanding, the room had the most stunning view of the Skytower and the amenities were just spectacular! We were excited about our stay as we came here 1 year ago. Club breakfast was below average, i think we should try the other 8 restaurant next time to compare. Internally the building is still great externally the pool area looked like it was in need of some love. Overall we left feeling underwhelmed feeling it was 4* at best. Would probably try our luck in a different 5* resort next time we have the option.

They no longer have CNBC on tv. Channel air lounge is always cold, I heard other complaining. They don’t notice as they are working. It’s at a lower level than lounge so of course it’s cooler. Busy Chinese New Year, but no reply to room service. Lovely to see a kiwi girl as waitress in Chandelier lounge. Main Restraunt excellent with Legoya leading the team

I stay at Cordis often, however this time wasnt a great experience. We booked a room with 2 beds, but theyd 'upgraded' us to a room with 1 bed, so had to have that sorted out. The spa pool was cold for more than 24hrs. Someone had gone into the elevator wet, I slipped as I walked in and banged my knee on the floor and cut my toe - the guy at the front desk didnt ask if I was ok, just said hed have ice sent to my room.

Two things only, room was really nice and clean. But the room was hot, the aircon did not work, we phoned for help and no one came, had to have the windows open and even then struggled to sleep! Second issue was the breakfast, it was noted as included when booked, at check it also confirmed included and go to club lounge. Went to the lounge the next morning, however the sign there says breakfast downstairs on that day...so went downstairs, guy at eight wanted to charge us, i said it was included and the guy said you'd need to take it up with reception!
