we stayed in a room on the 7th floor with water views. the room and bed were great but the parking options were quite poor. the $20 parking option was the night rate in the parking building nextstore from 5pm to 7am, with $6 added per half hour outside those times. this fact needs to be clearer on the hotel listing

Hotel was clean and nicely presented. Safe & quiet area. Beds are super comfortable. Only complaint would be the stains on the carpet in the room, they let the hotel down as it wasn’t just one mark there were several.

Short stay in Wynyard Quarter

Travelodge Auckland is a basic hotel suitable for a short stay. Staff are pleasant and helpful. We appreciated the early check in. Room service is once every three days. Have larger bins if that's the case. Bed was comfortable.

Great location

A very spacious and comfortable room. Well located for the marina bars etc and shopping. Excellent coffee shop next door. We were able to park on the road in front of the hotel for a small charge (free on Sundays)

Priced right. Clean, safe, close to sites, down town. Only clean room everywhere 3 days, small side coffee shop serves sandwiches. Rooms small, king size bed small, bathroom water puddles, doors noisy when closed.

We found Wynyard Quarter lively and very close to the ferry terminal. We only had a couple of days in Aukland and wanted to go to Waiheke. The restaurants and general atmosphere along the water front were great. We very much liked the feel of the neighborhood
