Room was cool. No dinnerware or cutlery apart from coffee cups, glasses and teaspoons. Not great if you want to make a quick breakfast of porridge and have nothing to eat it on. Room very cold. Sofa uncomfortable. Found a heater to warm up room but didn’t want to leave it on so turned off when went to bed but bedding not very warm either so didn’t sleep well

Arriving at 2am is not fun, but the shuttle pickup went fine, the check-in was smooth, beds and room clean. Only 6 hours to sleep, then the same process in reverse to get home.

When booking with wotif this property does not honour the booking terms and cinditions. The T&C say pay at the property on arrival. They don't do this and charge the morning of the booking and you have to pay a 2.5% card fee. I would never stay with them again and would not recommend them to anyone. They are very dishonest.

The room was adequate but the noise level was appalling. It sounded like a drunk was staggering around in the adjoining room, falling into furniture and walls. The restaurant was OK, but the locals going back and forward from the pokie machine room to the bar detracted from the visuals. The attempt to charge $100 bond on my return trip because I was using a debit card, after no such charge had been made on my previous (recent) stay, was the clincher. I will never go back.

Checkin was quick and simple. Room was very dated. TV only had 4 channels, not even local channels apart from Trackside, asked if this could be looked at was told it was due to old aerials and the manager had been advised of this. There was food left in the draw of one of the dressers, obviously not cleaned out after previous guests. Heater was a panel heater which had to be plugged in to a multibox due to the lack of powerpoints. Also had a broken leg on one end. Dirty shoe marks on the floor in the bathroom. I wasn't expecting the Ritz for what I paid but this was definitely a very budget room.
