The hotel was brilliant , warm and welcoming, meals were fantastic,friendly and helpful staff . Our room was on the third floor with lift going to second floor leaving with some steps to the room. Our room was comfy,warm plenty of tea and coffee. Theres a bus stop at the end of the road if you wish to catch a bus to bath . Staff very helpful with info on this. Certainly will stay again.

Lovely view from our room, comfortable bed and good amount of space. The bedroom was very hot though which did affect our sleep, we opened the window as wide as we could but didn't use the fan in the room. Buffet breakfast was nice, good selection of hot and cold options. We enjoyed our stay!

Room was in need of refurb. That said what made it not great were the curtains which had seen better days. New curtains and the need for redecoration would have not been as noticeable. Bed was comfy, sheets were clean. Breakfast had some high quality sausage and bacon but let down by scrambled egg.

The hotel is priced appropriately, it's an older building with creaky slanted floors, some would call that charm I guess. bathroom was fine, beds where okay as well. Small TV, but it worked.

The Staff were excellent and couldn`t do enough for us. The food was very good and plentiful. Really loved the area and my only problem was the room size and sloping floors but due to the age of the building it was to be expected. We will be back again as it is a well run Hotel.

Lovely setting, good size room for the price, but up a flight of very creaky stairs as lift did not go to top floor, which, to be fair, was made aware of this could be a possibility on booking. Bed was big, but very uncomfortable and shower drain was blocked so water did not drain well.
