This looks like a fraudulent listing. I didn’t get to stay there because of what looks like a scam. After booking with Hotels.com, I received a message asking for a bank transfer of £250 to JC Apartments (Sort code 200864 Account details 73603806) as a security deposit. I was told I could not make the payment at check in and that if I didn’t pay in the £250 next 15 minutes they’d cancel my booking and keep my payment. I’ve seen or heard nothing from JC Appartments to suggest this is anything other than fraud.

Unfortunately the room we were originally placed in didn’t have a working tv but the night manager Lee was extremely polite and apologetic and sorted the issue promptly. He compensated us for the inconvenience. and promptly managed to move us to another room which has a working tv. He was so kind and made sure to do all he could to enable we had a good stay, which we did. The hotel was clean and all the staff were lovely. Definitely somewhere I would stay again.

Fabulous hotel. Location and canal view from bedroom wonderful. The receptionists were super friendly and the room spotlessly clean from Rumi hosekeeping . Fluffy white towels abd hot powerful showers. Most importantly a very comfy matress and crisp white bed linen.

Staff were great however I felt the images on the site were misleading- I booked a room with a queen bed, the bed was a normal double, the leather sofa was really scratched up and damaged looking, the tv remote had battery salt coming out of it (they did replace the remote), just was a bit shabby and disappointing considering I paid £261 for a night there. Additionally the images made it look like a massive breakfast buffet but there was not much choice at all and the quality wasn’t great. So the service was friendly and great and can’t fault it but the room and general hotel was not to the standard I expected for the price I paid unfortunately. It had a nice bathroom and wasn’t the worst but I would not pay that price for that room again.
