Lovely stay at the Arden Hotel

Had a very nice stay at the Arden Hotel. All members of staff were very friendly. Have stayed 2 years running when in the area and will happily stay again.

Easy to find with Sat Nav. Plenty of on site secure parking. Less than 5 minute walk to other eating or drinking establishments although we ate at the hotel and the food and drink prices were very reasonable. Staff very helpful. Room very clean and tidy. Will definitely stay at this hotel again in the future. Highly recommended

Poor bathroom

Hotel generally fine but the shower in the bathroom was overhead and in the bath. I prefer not to have to climb in to a bath to shower. No shower caps provided so hair would become wet. Room too hot and window hardly opened.

Good for visit to nec

Hotel good and comtortable. Rooms a bit dated, nit enough tea bags/milk withoit having to go to reception from the start. Towels and barhroom requisits changed after 1 day even though left on rails etc as requested not eco friendly. Breakfast perfect, but evening meal in restaurant very average. Heating hard to get right temp and no instructions in the room for it.

Good hotel but keep an eye on your car!

Excellent hotel. Very good staff. Rooms clean and comfortable. Floor was a bit noisy to walk on but no rooms below us. Stay was slightly marred by an attempt to steal our car from the hotel carpark. Fortunately they were not successful in gaining access to the car systems or entry to the car and don't appear to have caused any damage other than the removal of covers and disconnection of electronic components.
