Excellent hotel for families. We had a fantastic time. The staff were friendly and helpful. Easy to walk or catch the tram to surfers paradise. The rooms were great, a little worn, but comfortable and the aircon works great. You spend hardly any time in your room anyway. I would recommend spending as much time at the hotel as you can as the kids will get a lot out of the facilities, the activities and the opportunity to make friends.

We liked the hotel but there is a lot of stuff they said they had but weren’t available. We only used the water park because the ice skating wasn’t available, the kids club was not on and too expensive. There wasn’t any lazer games and there was no free kids games room everything had to be money.

Room was very clean with daily servicing. Staff helpful and friendly. Would love to have had breakfast facilities in the room (toaster, plates, bowls, cutlery, tea towel etc). Bathroom very stuffy as there's no exhaust fan so as soon as you get out of shower you feel clammy and wet again! Excellent water park and pool areas. Never-ending entertainment and activities for kids and adults! Spent way more money than I budgeted for (single parent) due to snacks/meals due to lack of kitchen facilities. Overall, an excellent holiday destination and we will be back!

It was very family friendly however there were a few things that could be improved on! The in room kitchen amenities made it so you could only microwave food, there was no other means for you to cook your own food and you basically Had to purchase from their restaurant or elsewhere. The doors to the room didn’t stay open, they were automatically closing which made it difficult to get things in and out of the room. Some menu items were equally priced despite having significant differences in offering eg the loaded nachos was $18 whether you had the beef or the vegetarian. The vegetarian only Came with guacamole and sour cream, no salad, cheese, beans or salsa. But the beef came with beef, beans and guacamole and sour cream. I was told to pay extra for basic salads and cheese on my vegetarian option. There was no happy hour for the bar! I would have appreciated some low cost/ no cost craft activities like painting or a simple kids craft. Especially when it rained and activity options were limited to costly experiences.
