Secrets Playa Blanca is truly a gem. This hotel is aesthetically one of the most beautiful properties I have seen on Mexico’s Eastern coastline. The trip started off shaky with problems at check-in, but everything thereafter was nearly perfect. The grounds, rooms, pools, and beach were all absolutely stunning. The service was excellent. The personal butlers (Eddy and Ana) were incredible and would fulfill any requests without hesitation, I had read previously that the butlers weren’t worth the preferred club upgrade, but I disagree. The staff at this hotel are fantastic. They go out of their way to ensure you are having an amazing vacation. Aside from the butlers, I want to thank Omar from the preferred club, as well as Francisco and Cesar at the Jungle pool. Also our housekeeper Areyl who was so wonderful. The spa was also heavenly, both in the environment and the services. The only major area that could use some improvement is the food. But all in all the food was pretty good for an all-inclusive property. It’s just with everything else from the facilities to the service being so elevated and luxurious, despite attempts, the food doesn’t quite match up. That was fairly minor though and I love this resort and cannot wait to plan my next stay! Thank you Secrets Playa Blanca!

This resort is absolutely outstanding!! The staff, the food, the drinks and the property itself is top-notch. Everything is very clean and everyone is very attentive. If you have the opportunity to stay at this resort it is definitely a must!!

🌴💍 I came for a wedding and fell head over heels for Secrets Playa Blanca! This resort isn't just a destination - it's a total vibe that captured my heart from day one. Nestled in lush greenery, these private sanctuaries are luxury personified. Private pools that feel like your personal paradise - even as a wedding guest, I was living my best life. Full bottle service is a game-changer. Premium spirits delivered directly to cabana - because wedding celebrations should never stop, right? Extra, but TOTALLY worth it. The food? Absolute culinary magic. Some dishes were so delicious but not every meal was perfect. While many were incredible, a few left me wanting more. I enjoyed the sunset views, intimate dining experiences, and staff who treat you like royalty. Would I come back? In a heartbeat but with a romantic partner. Until then? I'll keep those wedding memories alive.

Great resort. Butler service was great, ask for Daniel. He did a great job with any reservations or assistance by the beach. Reuben at the beach was also great for food & drinks. The hydrotherapy is definitely time well spent, food was hit or miss, as with all All-inclusives. Great facility, looks brand new and incredibly clean!

When it was good, it was great (i.e. food, amenities, night entertainment, the rooms). When it was bad, it was really bad (not accommodating to big groups, day time fun was lacking - too quiet, tier system of perks not great, we couldn’t sit outside at a restaurant because we were too wet… at a beach resort, ummm ok ). Overall it’s a good place for couples not groups. Night time vibes were high.

This was a great vacation for us. I would say the only downfall was that you couldn't prepare ahead of time for what dining options may be closed upon your arrival. We went over Valentines Day / Presidents Day weekend. There was multiple big events happening. Several weddings and several work gatherings. This caused some of the dining options to be closed. They even started to close the seating area for their main pool for one of the events without any prior notice. This was just a big bummer because we were hoping to get dining at a specific restaurant for Valentines Day but it wasn't until the day of that we found out the place was closed for a private event. If you are a planner this might be difficult for you. Also, they have different access' for instance you think you paid for the preferred with all preferred benefits (butler service and access to all the preferred options) however there is two types of preferred, one gives you access to the preferred bar and pool and the other gives you the access to the top shelf liquors and butler services. I am not quite sure how to tell the difference when you book, but we were under the assumption we were getting all the preferred perks only to find out that we were only given access to the preferred areas and not all the perks. The staff was super friendly and nice. There was never a moment we felt uncomfortable or unsafe. All transactions at the hotel are made in USD - and if you use the ATMS they will give you USD.

The property was everything I expected and the swim out pool was the icing on the cake for me. My only grievance was the absence of a designated butler which was supposed to be a part of my stay!… upon arrival I was assigned a butler who turned out to be out of the country on Vacation and the person reassigned never showed up either and I way had to message to figure out what was going on.
