The unit was in very poor condition, couldn’t lock sliding door, handle broken, carpet filthy, holes in both bathroom and bedroom walls. Cupboards and drawers broken in kitchen. Only positive was roomy unit, plenty of storage. Furniture in disrepair. Would not stay here again.

No one attended to welcome, waited 45 min to check in. No apologies. No one to communicate. When you know that guest check in time is 2 pm , then why no one at the reception counter. Very disappointing as we travelled 300 km and we are already tired and exhausted.

Access cards didn’t work so we were unable to get into our room when we arrived. We had also arrived after reception had closed and so was unable to contact anyone to rectify the problem 😡.

The property had tears in the carpet which was clrealy quite old. The aprtment we stayed in the lounges looked like they had been picked up after a council pick up week.

This property is in an area of Newcastle that is being renewed but is still a bit old and tired. It is only a 5 minute walk to the Transport Interchange where you can take the tram all the way to Newcastle Beach. Buses run along Hunter Street on a regular basis. The Marketown shopping centre is only a 10 minute walk with both Coles and Woolworths, amongst other shops. Hunter Street is very noisy - both traffic and people noise coming and going from local pubs and clubs. The apartment we stayed in was really good. It had two bedrooms and two bathrooms, laundry room, full kitchen, large balcony and big living/dining area. There is air conditioning and ceiling fans in the bedrooms. Unfortunately the WiFi wasn't working when we were there and we weren't informed of this when we arrived. I only found out when I went down to ask about it. Accessing the underground parking is a bit tricky when you first arrive because you have to go into reception to get the keycard for entry but there is very limited parking in front of the building. We had to do a few laps of the block before we could park and go into the building. Most of the decent restaurants are a good 15-20 minutes walk away. There were only 2 forks in the kitchen though there were lots of knives, spoons and plates. The fridge also needed a good wipe down on the inside. Overall, we would stay here again.

I am at a loss as to where to start this email. I have to say this has been one of my worst experiences staying in apartment accommodation anywhere. Our first apartment absolutely reeked of urine and was revolting, nothing like your photos you advertise. The lovely receptionist did swap us to a different apartment shortly before he left for the day, only for us to discover that the Air conditioning doesn’t work, runs for 10 mins then we get an error and it shuts down, the television only has one channel, foxtel not even connected although control proudly presented on the coffee table. Toilets in both bathrooms don’t flush properly and no one to report any of this to. Don’t even get me started on the fact that we couldn’t even park our car in our allocated parking spot as there just wasn’t enough room, and there is absolutely no way it accommodates disabled parking, I have had to park on the street all night. The two disabled parks were obstructed by vehicles without disability permits when I looked. I had booked your apartment in good faith that the photos were representative of what I was purchasing. I hope you attempt to improve your accommodation venue for future guests.
