Rydges Australia Square is in a great location. You can walk to Circular Quay, The Rocks and Pitt Street Mall in 5 minutes. The room was great, and the bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in.

Clean, great location, staff very helpful. Room was ready at 8am, there was an upcharge of A$30, but it was well worth being able to get settled into the room early in the day. I believe there was an additional charge for the breakfast but it was ample and very convenient as there did not appear to be other options nearby. They were having trouble with their elevators creating long waits at times and a stressful situation (3 elevators for clients - one out of service until a new part arrives, one with loud scraping noises, one fully functional).
