My girlfriend and I just got back from Hawaii on Waikiki Beach from 3/26/26-03/31/26 (5 nights). DO NOT rent a car and plan on regular guest parking at Hyatt Regency Waikiki for $65/day or valet parking at $80/day! My girlfriend and I left hotel valet parking twice in 6 days. Each time we had to wait in line for over an hour to re-valet park at Hyatt Regency, our own hotel. Utterly unbelievable, especially at $80/day! Hyatt should purchase/invest in a new offsite parking garage even if a few blocks away for valet. Or, they should warn their guests not to plan on renting a car and valet or non-valet parking at their Hyatt Regencyt Waikiki resort since they have WAAAYYY insufficient parking to handle all guests.
