Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities
The room was dirty, bath was filthy (not used by us), but at least the sheets were clean (only doona & bottom sheet, which was a little too warm for weather). Cockroach poo inside the dirty smelly fridge. No tea/coffee in the room. The corridors were dirty, bags of rubbish lying for 2 days not to mention the horrendous smell in the carpark & rubbish lying everywhere. The flies were a special touch in the lifts.

2/10 Terrible

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities
When we arrived we found there was no fridge, no toilet paper, no tea or coffee, no milk no plates or crockery. When we used the lift and pressed the button the whole panel fell out. The shower was grubby. The draws in the bathroom were filthy. One bed looked as though it had been slept in, there’s was fine dirt from someone’s feet in the bed.

Disgustingly dirty. Poo smeared on the toilet wall, another family was given the keys to my room so they just let themselves in while I was getting changed. Was warned of creeps by another guest in the lobby before I had even checked in. I left before the night even started as I was concerned for my safety, when asking for a refund I got told to pound sand. Avoid this place at all costs.

Room was overlooking the marina which was beautiful. It had 2 queen beds, which were very comfortable. The bathroom is very outdated and in need of some tlc and ventilation as does most of the building. Overall it was ok for what we needed.

6/10 Okay

It was really nice to wake up to views of the marina. The hotel was fairly close to a shopping centre for the basics, and we enjoyed the thai restaurant 300m down the road. Some things that we noticed with our week-long stay - issues with waste management; building wear and tear; the lack of laundry facilities; the fact that it felt a long way away from the places we wanted to go. We spent more time driving than I had initially counted on.
