Awesome stay

My fiancé and I spent 4 nights at browns boutique during winter and had the best stay. We were greeted by Peter who gave us a quick tour and showed us to our room. It is an amazingly short walk into the centre of Queenstown which made it easy to pop out for dinner and not worry about driving or parking. The rooms were always warm and clean when we got in from skiing and whether I thought was Peter himself or the people he has managing the property for him we were always welcomed warmly. The breakfasts were also delicious everyday

Very convenient location, warm and friendly hosts.

This was certainly an inspired pick off the internet! Jane and Mike were very welcoming, as was Peter, the owner. Our room and views were delightful and we also enjoyed spending down-time in the lounge room in front of an open fire. When required our hosts gave us friendly advice about local sights and restaurants. Browns is a really fantastic base for a relaxing holiday to savour the delights of Queenstown. Would definitely go back.

overnight stay before a pick-up to join a cruise

Pros: comfortable beds in a quiet area of town
Cons: Hard to say after only one night
Location: easy access to main part of town but it was literally a place to sleep for 1 night in transit.
Helpful information about where to eat in the town as only breakfast was served at the hotel.

lovely comfortable hotel

Pros: Lovely comfortable beds, good service, close proximity to town
Location: Very close to the centre of Queenstown and the gondla and good restaurants
We were extremely well looked after, the rooms were very private clean and comfortable. The staff were helpful and polite. We would love to come and stay again and would recommend this hotel to our friends.

Convenient walk to town

Pros: Location, friendly, nice rooms
Cons: We did unfortunately have some issues with hot water, or lack thereof... The fan in the bathroom is noisy and stays on for ages.
Location: Great access to town, yet wonderfully quiet for sleeping
Lovely greeting, room very comfy, bed lovely, nice and quiet.

Friendly, personal, lovely stay

The owners went out of their way to make us feel welcome, taking a personal interest in our plans, offering suggestions and advice but not in an overbearing way! Lovely room, great breakfast, just a great place to stay.

Great location, w' magic views!

Pros: The friendly service, great breakfasts + very comfortable room.
Cons: Personally, I'm not a big fan of the shower/bath ("shub") set up. It's only a tiny thing but the only thing I could complain about!
Location: Perfect location, just up the steps from town. Everything to do in central QT is right there!
We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at Brown's Boutique; it was the perfect mix of boutique hotel and welcoming play to stay! The room was great, with a lovely view - and it was a wonderful location for the long weekend getaway. Would absolutely recommend!
