It was a smooth check in at first, the receptionist immediately provided us a room and we were able to quickly settle ourselves until we're about to sleep. I was trying to set the room temperature down to something like 18 or 20 degrees, but it's stuck to 24(feels like 30). My husband also tried but failed as well. We called for help and the maintenance guy came, he tried to fix it but failed. He said he will tell the receptionist. I was hoping the receptionist would provide something to ease the inconvinence but nothing was offered. I just asked for a THIN blanket and was given or provided with a THICK blanket. It was so dissapointing given that it is a 4-star hotel I could've just booked other hotels around but specifically chose Crowne Plaza due to its name and years of providing hospitality service. We endured the hotness of the room the whole night perspiring we even removed the insides of the comforter just to have that thin blanket, I tried to sleep at 11pm thinking this will just pass, and woke up at 4am sweating, and wasn't able to get back to sleep, so as my partner and kids, we just decided to wait for 3hrs until 7am for brekky. We were happy with the food yes, it was great, but the room was terrible.

We’ve stayed here previously and were somewhat disappointed with this visit. Training staff on the front desk who charged us twice and didn’t rekey us when we extended our stay. Breakfast was a shambles. No matter what time it was hard to get a table, there weren’t enough staff to clear and reset tables and keep the buffet topped up. It also would be nice if the bistro was open for dinner Fri-Sat

The check in was very easy, parking was also easy to locate and plenty of spaces. The room was a good size with a comfortable bed, cleaning could have been better old hair pins under the bed and hair bands but overall ok. Good variety of restaurants and shopping center close by. We had breakfast for two mornings good value and kids had breakfast for free which was great, good variety however the experience was a little chaotic in the morning with to many guests and not enough tables to accommodate everyone waiting. Overall good experience , breakfast could be managed slightly better for a smoother experience.

We purchased a package that included breakfast and parking. Upon checkin, we were told that we had not purchased the package and had to show the email to prove it. They then said they would update the system, but clearly didnt as we had the same issue at breakfast. On both occasions, the staff were disbelieving and we had to prove with the email again. We thought the parking issue had been sorted, but found they had charged our credit card without permission. It took a phone call where we were again told the parking wasn't included until she checked the system to get the money refunded. AVOID, NOT WORTH THE HASSLE

Bedding was not clean

The room was alright. It’s an overnight stay for my family. We all felt so itchy whole night and could not sleep well. Then the next day I found some small brown-ish particles on the bed. Hopefully they are not bed bugs or something similar. But I could feel the bedding was not clean. A bit disappointing.

Great place to stay and well connected through Metro to CBD plus there are several eateries nearby and Macquarie shopping mall is a few bus stops away which has Laundromat. Breakfast buffet has good variety, room service bites are very few options. Staff is lovely but service is sometimes slow and reception is often vacated with no calls answered. Rooms are spacious and quiet but too many lights don’t work in the room. My kid brought sand in his shoe on day 2 and it somehow reached the bed after room service, until day 5 after daily room service, the sand was still in the bed.
