We were disgusted with the room and the management or lack of it. Firstly, the room was unclean. Floors had dust and the shower recess was moldy and had a used soap stuck on the floor waste. No soap holder. A used bath towel was still hanging on the back of the bathroom door. The bathroom bin hadn't been emptied. There was a tiny amount of toilet paper left on the roll and no spare toilet roll anywhere. No bin liner in the other bin. Only one coffee mug, no coffee, no milk. Food left in the fridge and the fridge hadn't been wiped out. A used glass was left on the table outside on the balcony. The fan was very dirty and noisy so we turned it off. The air conditioning in the main area was not working properly and a rag hung from the curtain rail underneath it to catch dripping water. Both screen and glass doors that lead onto the balcony were very hard to open and didn't appear to be positioned properly in their tracks. We rang Management to advise them of the condition of the room and had to leave a detailed message as they did not answer the phone. We requested a call back regarding our concerns but this was not forthcoming. So, overall, a completely incompetently run establishment in dire need of maintenance and hygeine addressing. This level of customer service is unacceptable and the fact that they did not even pay us the courtesy of a return call is all telling of this poorly run establishment. We would like a refund and are considering taking this to the ACCC.
