I would like to give this a higher rating but unfortunately I cannot.
When you login to use the WiFi you are asked for your Hilton membership login (I don’t have an account and I don’t want one) if you say you do not have an account they give you the choice to register or they tell you that you can pay for the internet or they will slow it down. If I’m staying in a hotel and spending over $1K in the course of this trip why is it reasonable and ethical for them to throttle my internet or make me pay more for it? Because I did not consent to them scraping any more of my personal information with another hotel membership?
That was ridiculous and up until that point I would have said it was a lovely visit. But due to the business principles of that tactic I simply won’t come back.
Also if you are using a car add $50 a night for parking. There are no nearby structures to park in and no alternatives.
