We booked a deluxe ocean view room for two nights. The room wasn’t ready when we checked in at 5pm! They made us wait for a full hour (they forgot about us, we had to go back to reception and ask again). The room had been cleaned in a hurry. There was dust covering EVERYTHING. Toiletries weren’t fully stocked up. We were on the top floor on level 12 and the room had mould/water damage on the ceiling. The decor is very out dated. The view to the harbour was blocked by buildings. The entire building has chips, paint coming off and looks in need of some serious repair. The location is good but that’s where it ends. An extremely over priced hotel and not worth it. The pictures are heavily photoshopped, don’t be fooled.

Efficient check in. On our arrival by car, I was particularly impressed by the staff member outside the hotel on the road who helped us with valet parking instructions and general Auckland information. Well done!
