The pictures of the room displayed online when booking, was far from what the actual room was. A very small balcony with very limited sea views. The room was not what i would expect from the Hilton brand, with cracks in the tiles, bar fridge that sits on an angle in the cupboard, a crack in the bathroom sink, and overall very dated and in need of a makeover....including a shower curtain, which i have not seen in a modern hotel for a very longtime. The staff and downstairs level were fantastic, but the room is far from what i would expect from the Hilton and costing over $600.

All the staff were fantastic. The Hotel neglected to say on there website on what amenities were available. One of main reasons I selected the The Hilton was for for there outdoor pool. When arrived we were told it was under renovation/repair. They offered a 10 minute walk at another hotel with an indoor pool. Yay! We had a room with the harbor view. Beautiful view until a cruise ship showed up. The staff did warn us on check in. We were leaving the day the cruise ship showed up nice an early. Lesson learned. Location fantastic. Last kicker was taxi to airport. We grab one from the Hilton. It was double the price of an Uber! That was a stinger. Car is a car. Lesson learned again. Take an Uber. Best thing about the Hiton was the all of staff. Cheers.

We had a king room with a view of the harbor. Enjoyed watching the ferries come and go. The room was attractive and comfortable. The main room was rather small, but the bathroom was very large. The breakfast was wonderful, with a wide variety of very high quality items. The breakfast was a buffet, and the servers would bring specialty drinks like lattes.

We were very well served and the atmosphere is very cosy. We stayed on the fourth floor, room 2. A relatively large room. I missed a power outlet next to the bed. I also didn't feel that the pillow was very good (my wife didn't see any problem). The balconies give access to the rooms next door, so don't forget the balcony door open. But none of this was actually a problem during our stay, just an observation for future guests.

We had a great welcome on arrival by reception and porters- then it went downhill! Room toilet not clean. Teas/ coffees/ sugar / milk virtually none - had to ring and request - phone not answered for ages - replacement came hours later. Breakfast- very poor- head waiter- offhand - other staff great . Choice of food very limited- dirty serving spoons , caked on food . Really disappointed as this was meant to be a very special celebration- but wasn’t! Pool out of order - no mention of it !!
