Reception staff were great. Could not fault their service. Rooms could use a bit of updating and some deep cleaning. I.e. there were hand/finger marks (old blood stains too) on the doors that could use a good clean down. Bed and bedsheets were excellent and the size of the room itself is totally fine for the convenient location and price. TVs do not have smart tv capabilities which is standard in most 3 star hotels these days.

It’s budget, so just expect that! Staff are helpful and happy to assist rooms are very small but hey you get what you pay for! Don’t expect luxury, just a room and wetroom ensuite

This is such a handy hotel when i need to be close to work. Quiet on the 18th floor and a good night's sleep on very comfortable pillow. The bathroom is basic but adequate.

Worst service ever in Hotels, even regional hotels treat better. I booked for 2 nights, assuming that rooms will be good. But terrible bedding and fan which run same speed even if you have 3 speed option. I have to stay near fan for any air. I have showed it to receptionist he saw and said he can’t help me. And thought I have to sleep in same room with sweating and where your wifi doesn’t work. Wifi is tooo slow where I cannot use my laptop. I have to vacate in same moment and find really good places with same budget. I always recommend not to choose Ibis Budget Auckland. Horrible ever experience and Customer Service sucks.
