Hi AkiYour booking was done through Expedia. You came on the 10th of August and said you had a booking in which we advised you we don't have a booking under your name in the system to arrive on the 10dth of August, you didn't mention anything to us about a cancellation. On the 17th of August, we had a booking for you. You did not show, we didn't receive any cancellation nor any correspondence from Expedia regarding a cancellation. We charged 1 night's accommodation as per hotel policy. It's obvious you made a mistake with your booking dates and instead of checking your confirmation email from Expedia to confirm your dates, you assumed that our staff can read minds and therefore will cancel your reservation. Out of good faith, we advised you that we will use your payment as a credit for when you can come stay with us as we have been charged commission on your booking therefore we were unable to refund. Please note this is not our normal procedure. We don't appreciate you giving us a 1 out of 5 just because you made a mistake with your dates. Regards
